Hi, this sounds like a great event for the end of summer. I have a large group of Irish from Omaha coming with me and there are few questions they asked that I didn't have an answer for...hoping someone on here can help me out... 1.) What does the ticket price include, I am assuming it is just admission to listen to the bands, see the exhibits, etc...but it doesn't include any food or drink does it? 2.) On that note, how much cash should we bring if we are looking to indulge in some Guinness's and corn beef? 3.) As far as camping is concerned, can we just pop up a tent at the park and leave it there and attend the festival, will there be room for that?? 4.) I know this question is ridiculous, but someone will have a radio with the Husker game on correct? Sorry for all the questions, none of us have been to Greeley before, so please don't laugh at me...Thanks in advance and we are looking forward to it!!!...

I'll try to answer your questions as best I can,
1. The ticket price is just for admission. Parking is free and there will be a shuttle making rounds if you don't want to walk to the festival.
2. As for cash, you might want to just bring a credit card, that way you can pull out say 30 or forty dollars at the ATM, and then see how far that will take you. There is an ATM at Froggers bar, which is downtown and on the shuttle route.
3. There is free camping at the park, just bring a tent and find a spot, you can camp anywhere in the park except for inside the ball diamond, it is a short walk to the festival from the park.
4. I am not sure if there will be a radio with the Husker game at the festival but like I said about the shuttle, at anytime you can leave the Festival and ride the shuttle to Froggers bar downtown and they will have the Husker game on, you can then take the shuttle back to the festival.
I hope this helps you out. Greeley is a real small town( 580 people) so everything is in close proximity. People will be very friendly and you can ask anyone for directions or assistance and they will be happy to help you out.

The ATM machine @ Froggers will be moved up to the fest. It will be located inside of the gym. The local bank and Frogger have worked this out in order to help make it easier for folks to get cash.
Not sure what food vendors will charge but you will be asked to pay $4 for a pint of beer, $4 for other alcoholic drinks, $1 for a can of pop or bottle of water. They will be selling drink tickets for $1 each so look for the drink ticket table when you arrive.
Also be prepared to show ID. You'll be fitted with a wrist bracelet when you present or purchase a ticket to show you paid to get in and another bracelet if you are old enough (21) to drink alcohol.

How about inviting the Lincoln Irish Dancers to perform this year? We have performed all over Nebraska, in Iowa, Kansas, and Texas.

We have already booked our dancers for 2008. The Brennan Irish Dancers will be returning by popular demand.
Thank you for asking though and we hope you will come to enjoy the fest with us!!

I have a question regarding camping. If we bring a camper and get an electrical hookup, will there be a place to fill fresh water and dump the used?

There will be electrical hookups for campers available this year in the park. Check the lodging link on the website for contact info to reserve a space. There are water hydrants in the park area to get water.
Please note that no open fires will be allowed in the park. No camping is allowed on the fenced ballfield area.
Showers will be available on Sunday morning in the swimming pool building in the SE part of the park.
Indoor restrooms are located on the South side of the snack shack which is north of the pool building. Portable restrooms will also be located in the park area.
The local cafe will be open for breakfast on Sunday morning downtown. Mass at Sacred Heart Church will be at 8:30 am and noon on Sunday. Also United Methodist Church's services are at 8:30 am as well.

At least we don't have to worry about trying to listen to the Husker game in competition with the fine Irish music this weekend. My friends and I cannot wait to come and have a blast at the 1/2 way to St. Patties Day festival. Look for this redhead to be wanting a cold beer at Froggers later on too.
